There's not been too much to update on. She has clear discharge from four of her nipples if lightly squeezed, I'm happy for that since she only produced from on nipple with her last litter.

She's got horrible gas and pudding style poop today. It had been more formed the last few days.
No more lady part discharge that I'm aware of. She has been licking her nipples a lot more over the last 24hours.

She has been eating, but nothing like yesterday. She ate a 13oz can of food in 3.5 hours yesterday, and barely touched her food today.

I'll update when there's more to report. Hoping for a smooth labor and delivery, along with healthy babies.
Not sure when it will start, but when I first found out she was pregnant, I drew a cat face on August 17th, so we'll see if my gut instinct was right or not lol

Aw I like her pictures :) She does look needy in that first picture! Like "hey mom get off the camera and get back here!"

Still nothing. No discharge, no visible contractions, she's not distressed.

I'm wondering if she wasn't as far along as I thought. I am one of those people who notice things before most do. If I hadn't have spent so much time with her, I wouldn't have felt or saw her kittens move as soon as I did.
I guess some people can feel movement at 5weeks, and maybe I was one of those?

I did double check the video I took when I saw her babies moving, I took that August 3rd. I haven't felt a LOT of movement lately, but they're still moving. All towards her belly vs sides still.

Hopeful that she'll go next week, maybe the week after :)

Alright, so we have the pinkish color lady part discharge once more. Thick and sticky. It's been going on for almost 24 hours now. She's been spending more time licking her belly as well.

Trying hard not to get excited. She had discharge a little more than a week ago and then nothing. But, if people are similar to animals, I know the plug can regenerate if not completely knocked out of place, if I remember correctly.

I'll update if something happens, or if nothing happens again lol

At the vet. She had a tail sticking out for 3 hours. No good strong contractions. Starting oxytocin, may have to do c section :(

Oh, dear. I hope everything is ok. An hour of active pushing is the maximum amount of time you want to leave before intervention, so you definitely did the right thing taking her in!

I hope everything will be okay. If they have to do a c-section, have them spay her at the same time.

Please keep us posted.

She wasn't actively pushig during the time at home, and it's gonna cost 800$ I don't have to get her a c section for what will most likely be a litter of dead kittens.
I am so just, absolutely devastated to say the least.
I can't stop crying and feel sick.

Has the vet done an x-ray or ultrasound to determine if the kittens are alive?

What's happening now? Is she in surgery? If any kittens are alive they should get them out asap.

He said an xray would be of no help, and they don't have an ultra sound machine. I will be calling shortly to see if there is any news.

Got off the phone with the vet. Rainbow Kitty is okay, she had three kittens, all are alive!
I set up a go fund me account, because with all four kids needing stuff for school and a $800 vet bill, I don't know what I'm going to do :(

I'm sorry about my attitude in my earlier post. I was in a bad place, and just shocked. I think most people would lose it a bit. I managed to not swear at the vet office, only said 'fudge' repeatedly while I started crying.

I will be going to see her tonight at 8, I will update with more information then.

You see, all turned out well.  It's only natural to let fear get the best of us sometimes.  So glad mom and babies are all alive and doing well!  Keep us posted and be sure and send pictures when you see them later!!

I'm so glad it turned out well and you have 3 healthy kittens!

Your feelings are understandable. You were shocked, afraid, and overwhelmed. It will all work out! [emoji]128522[/emoji][emoji]128077[/emoji]

We're home! She let me move the kittens to her nesting box, and keeps leaving them to get me and wants me with her nonstop.
When the babies cry, she does go running back though :)

Aww, bless her heart. Is she in your bedroom? Did the vet give you pain meds for mom?
