Hi. Misha's was spayed on Monday morning. They said her surgery went great. I picked her up yesterday morning.
Anyway, I noticed when I got her out of the cat carrier that her left eye was FULL of water and it was leaking down to her nose. I got a flat piece of cotton and got it all off of her. Her eye was just a tiny bit squinting. Well, yesterday the watering was better, and today it's almost gone, but the squinting has gotten worse. She's squinting her eye half way closed. She's not rubbing at her eye or anything. She has been 100% separated from our other 2 cats.
When the vet office called this morning to check on her, I mentioned Misha's eye. The girl said the doctor wasn't in today, but that she thought it was due to the liquid they put in Misha's eyes to keep them moist during surgery.
What do you think this could be? Other than that she's doing great, she's eating, she's using the litter box, and she's starting to be playful again too. She slept in my hair all night last night.
Do you think I should just call back and make an appt?
