so i have taken in this momma cat that was pregnant and its been about 3 weeks since i took her in. and my question is that she had her babies and she had them under my bed. and that is totally fine. and i had my babies niece over and we slept in my room. and her bottle managed to go under the bed. i could not reach with my arms so i got a broom to try and push it under and my cat got mad and was thinking i was going to harm her and her babies and i was simply trying to grab my niece only bottle in the house. anyway she thought i was going to harm her and her babies and now she wont let me in my room she thinks im going to harm her? what should i do i gave her food and water to think everything is ok. and well my clothes are in my room and i have no way to get in there as she wont let me in :(

That's a good mom right there, protecting her babies. I've also got no clue what you should do except patiently reintroduce yourself to your room. Speak outside the door so Momma gets used to your voice so close to the room. Slowly open the door and speak. That sort of thing.

I think you need to go in bearing food and treats!

You do feed her wet food daily in addition to dry food available 24/7, right? And fresh water! She needs wet food while nursing.

Walk slowly and speak softly. Sit on the floor so she can check you out. Show her you are not a threat.

Let us know how it goes!

Oh, good, I'm glad she is letting you in. Bless her heart! She got frightened for her kittens! Mama instincts!

Sounds like you're doing great in reintroducing yourself in your space! Patience is key. Soon you'll be able to spend all day in there without her getting too upset.
