I'm abit worried because Thunder will pick the first born up and wonder around with it . It's starts crying and she places it down but she is carrying it for no obvious reason ???

I'm not sure what is motivating this behavior. I think she may be looking to move her kittens. Can you put them back in the wardrobe? She may have felt safer there.

New moms do tend to take 24-48 hours to fully settle in. If you have kitten formula (KMR), please give her a dish a day to drink. It helps with calcium and is calming.

Is she nursing them all now?

She is settled and nursing them now , I do hear afew squeaks every so often and the box that we were gonna move her into is to big to go in the wardrobe . She is settled now though so she should be okay .

Are you able to weigh the kittens every day? You may need to supplement the kittens that aren't favored.

How many kittens are there? Make sure they all nurse together.

They all nurse together just that the three ginger ones love you huddle up together , I couldn't weight them yesterday cause it was really late and today my mum tried to move the kittens to a different box instead of under my bed but Thunder got stressed out so I'm not sure if weighing them is a good idea ?

There are four kittens but Thunder still has a lump in his belly , can't cats carry two litters at once ?

You should weigh them quickly and in front of Thunder.  It's important to have a birth weight.

Can you keep Thunder totally inside and away from intact males until her kittens have weaned?

She may or may not have another kitten in her. Cats appear lumpy after birthing until their uterus shrinks. If she has another kitten to deliver, it will come when it's ready.

I think your mama kitty needs leaving alone with her kittens for the most part, except for weighing kittens and feeding mom.

She has food and they are feeding at the moment , she has water as well but isn't really drinking it . Shall I weigh them after they have been fed ?

She can get pregnant within a week of delivery, so they really shouldn't be alone at all until she is spayed.  She can be spayed 8 weeks after delivery.

Do you plan to get your male neutered too?  If so, now would be a good time.  He will be fertile for up to a month after the procedure so doing it while he already needs to be separated would be ideal.

Thunder came out from under the bed to go in the bathroom , I'm not sure why she goes in there but she does . And then she wondered off downstairs , I put the kittens on a hot water bottle with two towels over it cause she was walking around and not with the kittens . She won't lay down near them , she goes under there and looks at them , she knows they are there but she won't lay down near them . She lays down on the bed next to me . What do I do cause my bed isn't that easy to get under cause it's pretty low down but enough room for Thunder to stand up but it has slates ,? What do I do ?
She doesn't like the kittens being moved anywere , she always want them under the bed ?

Thunder has gone back down there and I moved the kittens so they can feed , do you think she was just taking a break from the kittens ?

Yes, I think she was taking a break, which is normal. She needs to nurse the kittens at least every 2 hours though.

I need some help because I have to go away camping for three days , Monday-Wednesday . Today I had to leave Thunder all day with the kittens cause I went out with my cousins . She pooped and peed on my carpet even though there is a litter tray . How do I move her ?

Where do you need to move her from and to?

Who will be looking after mama kitty and her kittens while you are gone camping?

Is her litter box nearby? Is it cleaned daily?

I need to move her down stairs into the utility room were she brought up her last one kitten . Her litter box is changed regularly and either my grandad or an older friend will look after them .
