As some of you may remember from another thread, I got a coffee table last year. My mom & I found it at a shop that redoes some furniture, & sells it, as well as second hand stuff.(mostly furniture). It was in November, so my mom got it for me, & I told her that could be my Christmas gift. I kept it at my parents house, because I was going to repaint it. (The shop had just gotten it in). It was an ugly orangey color wood. My original idea was to paint it off white, but the ivory spray paint I got made it turn out too almond / yellowish. I did not like that!  SO, after bringing it over, it sat in my kitchen for a few months, until I felt like dealing with it again!  WELL, yesterday, I hadn't planned on it, but I ended up tackling it. I wanted to finally get it done, & out of my kitchen.  I still had some white semi-gloss my dad had given me a while back to freshen up my cabinets, so I decided to use that.

It was on the thick side, but it worked!  It's so nice to finally have it done!  So I ended up having a very busy day yesterday.

Between coats, I steam mopped my living room, hall, & bathroom. Then I vacuumed. When I was done w/ the table, I cleaned up & mopped the kitchen. It felt good to get it all done though.

Today, I decided to just relax. I haven't colored in a long time, & have been wanting to, so while I watched a movie on tv, that's what I did.
Here it is painted w/ the Ivory. It was too yellow to me.( I turned it on it's side to start painting).

Now it's looking better!

And finally, the finished product, "Taa Daaaaa!"

And here's what I colored today. It's one I printed out.

Your living room looks very nice with the new table. You did a great job.

I love the picture you colored? Do you use colored pencils or what to color with?

oh, that coffee table turned out beautifully!
and you have such a lovely living room.

very nice printout you colored in too!
Thanks Jenn!!  It was a busy day, but I made up for it today.

Thanks!  Yes, I use pencils. Just regular old crayola pencils. I have two boxes of them. One single row, & one double row box. I usually color kind of hard, because I like to have the color rich & deep, but it also makes my fingers sore, which is also why I don't do it often.

Everything is lovely! The livingroom looks so relaxing! I am in the process of trying to declutter but we have too many cat things all over and boxes..because what cat doesn't like boxes? LOL.

the print is lovely. I too use a lot of pressure when coloring. I tend to snap off the tips. The colors look so lifelike!

Thanks everyone!  I'm proud of it myself. It took a long time to finally get it done.  It's a lot shorter in length than the glass one I had, but I am loving having the drawers.
