Hmmm this one is a toughy....normally Summer likes Chicken the best with turkey being a close second...or so I thought! I opened a can of tuna (with water) one night to make sandwiches and low and behold here comes Summer running, meowing rubbing my legs. My boyfriend and I were shocked because she usually doesn't act like this....she'll come out and watch me dish up her canned food from the spot where I usually set it, but we rarely hear a peep out of her as far as food goes, not only that, but she never seemed interested in ANY human food before...I gave her a little, and have given it to her once after that...she goes CRAZY for it, but I know it's not good for kitties so I only give it on a rare occasion....perhaps on her birthday and adoption dates I can give it to her to spoil her even more than she already is. I'm going to Petco Friday to buy her food and I just KNOW I'll come home with more toys for her....wish I had her life!!! LOL

Mishon LOL I know exactly the brand you're talking about. It's good stuff. And isn't it just dandy to own a Bissell

Hmmm...I tried that stuff when it came on the market, to see what they thought of it, since they have had Whiskas canned stuff and still eat Whiskas dry. They looked at me with the "What planet did YOU just arrive from?" look and walked away.

I spoil them sometimes by giving them a little cooked fresh salmon and lobster- lucky kitties
I chuckled when I read that. Took me back to Shasta. I used to buy a whole salmon at the market, get them to fillet it and save the trimmings for me. I'd cook the head and bones up for Shasta, and she'd be an absolute pest until it was cool enough for me to handle, to take the flesh off the bones for her. I thought, when Gryphon and Nibs joined the household, that she'd have to share the treat, but, no, they couldn't care less. Nobody else since has been interested, either.

woodsygirl: Are your cats friends now? I think you once said they could care less for each other or is that another tcs member?

Sounds like you spoil your kitties too! The kits only get lobster because its so readily available here. My dad is a lobster fisherman, so we eat them a lot

Zeus love raw chicken. He won't eat any wet food unless it's a particular brand, Fancy Feast. He loved the tuna and whitefish, now he hates it! Peppurr loves all kinds of wet food, he's not picky at all. Kitties can be so complicated at times!

Covet! Covet! I'm turning a lovely shade of green. I adore the stuff, but it costs an arm and a leg here, and it's not the same when it's had the travel stress -- it really does make a difference! Think of me the next time you have a lobster pig-out.

And yes, the babes do get spoiled -- as far as they're interested. The current crew really aren't much into human food. Perhaps as they grow older and settle down -- they're all relatively young.

Junebug loves the tuna juice, but other than that he isn't much of a meat eater. Melvin on the other hand absolutely loves sliced turkey. Voted turkey. My past cat Tiger was absolutely in love with shrimp!!

c1atsite- It was me that posted that... they tolerate each other but really have no interest in each other... they've been that way for 6 years so it's not a big deal. Usually when one is in the living room sitting in the sun, the other comes along and smacks the other to take over the sunny spot

woodsygirl, such beautiful cats you have. Mabel has such a cute little blob of grey dust on her nose. Mynx, with those beautiful green eyes and black coat. I have a soft spot for black cats
