i recently posted that i was going to start giving my cat some new types of meat to change things up. a few weeks ago, i tried beef for 3 days and she liked it.

so i made it again last night, and she ate it all. today, i was giving her the same treats i give everyday, freeze dried chicken. as she was eating them, she threw up. and started trying to eat her vomit.

shes never vomited with her snacks, and have been feeding them for about a year now.

my cat had issues with hairballs, but for the past couple of weeks, ive been combing her 4-7 times a week. and the vomit had no hair.

should i worry? should i stop feeding the beef?

I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens more than once. She might have just scarf and barfed.

I agree with missmimz! I'd keep an eye on her.

(And yes, isn't it lovely when they try to eat their own vomit?! Actually, though, I guess it's worse when one cat vomits and the other tries to eat the first cat's vomit!)
