Pee and poop

Cupcake likes to dig to the bottom of the box to pee and poo so the pee clumps on the bottom and the poo gets stuck too. It makes it hard to scoop and clean, so help would be appreciated. Sometimes after she poos she gets poo on her paws while covering it up, so how do get her to cover it without touching it. Thanks

My boy January likes to dig deep too. To stop the pee and poo from sticking to the bottom, especially the pee, fill up the box with minimum 3 ins of kitty litter. I used to fill up till 2 ins but I find January reaching the bottom of box. Now I fill up to 3 - 4 ins of kitty litter. This way he won't dig till he reach China and pee won't get stuck to the bottom, but you have to wait quite awhile for the pee to dry before scooping if not it'll break into many small pieces and that'll be a headache for you.

I've tried putting more litter in but she stIill digs all the way.

If it's deeper, while she digs, the litter from the sides will fall in. If it's shallow, there's no weight for the litter at the dude to fall back where she is digging.
