He is a bi-color, the exact pattern is often called for a tuxedo. If he is black so he is black tuxedo, if you deem him as grey he will be called for grey tuxedo. (or blue tuxedo if you so wish). I think he is shorthaired, even if the hairs isnt the shortest around.
He is surely a domestic, but he reminds me quite some of a ragdoll bi-color. The shape of head not least, and also, because bi-color is not uncommon with ragdolls.
Imagine a pointed semi-longhaired bi-color ragdoll, whom mates with a non pointed, shorthaired tom. The result could easily be this here looks...
