I have one hooded litter box in my bedroom and one on the screen porch. Even though they mostly "do their business" outside in the cat enclosure littter boxes, they still manage to use the indoor boxes every day.

Ok- at the risk of being tossed off this board as a bonifide crazy cat lady-

There is scheme being hatched for a contest in April- because March we are having a sort of treasure hunt here for you guys with a dynamite prize of a Drinkwell Water Fountain courtesy of www.catsplay.com

Ok more on that cool contest later-

But in April, one of our clients who makes covers for litter pans is going to donate 6 plain covers. If those of you who have covered pans will send me a tasteful photograph of your pan, I will draw 6 names out of the selections, and you will soon receive your own plain-jane litter pan cover for YOU to decorate in our very first TCS Litter Pan Makeover Contest!

Then the photos of the finished covers will be posted, the membership will vote and the winner will receive a really nice prize!

Let me know if you are game for this contest?

I have 2 hooded litter pans and one open litter pan.
They use the open one much more than the hooded one...I think it's because they can't push out all of the litter all over the floor with the hooded ones!!

LMAO!! Maybe if you could get Paris Hilton to scoop the litter pan in front of millions of americans.... I'd say the show would be a hit

Hi MA, I used to have 3 but one of my fosters was a big litter kicker when he got a bit older, so I gave his mum the third one.

Will send you a pic.

LOL Kim- knowing of Paris and her less than perfect brain matter I would venture to say she would probably use an ice-cream scooper! LOL

We've tried 'em, several times over the years, always end up taking the tops off and using the base as a tall litter box

Ok, I sent it off.

Paris Hilton? Good Grief! Yeah she probably would use an icecream scooper or use a pair of kitchen tongs and pick each clump bit by bit!

I can just picture her grasping the scoop with her pointer finger and thumb (pinky out, of course) saying, "ewwwwwwww?"
