Go to petsmart. Get a kitten bottle. They are under $5. And get some replacement milk. It comes in liquid and powder. I've used the powder cause it goes a lot further. Also if the kitten won't take the powder, Walmart sells goats milk in the dairy. Heat it up. Not hot. But not cold. And see if kitten will suckle. The bottle kit comes with different shaped nipple attachments

Oh and make sure she isn't producing. It might just be clogged. And she may not be done yet. One kitten sounds strange.

Cats often have hours up to 24 before they birth the rest of the litter unless you had an Xray to know that there is only one. Also all mammals make colostrum which is rich in antibodies but low in volume so if your cat is cleaning and cuddling her baby I would keep trying to get her to latch on and suckle by nuzzleing her muzzel against the teats, and then use a suringe to feed small amount s at a time hopefully she start suckling. Milk works on supply and demand if baby does not nurse mom will not ever make milk, one of the advisor can tell you how long to wait how much to give and about weight gain .

Do you still see any babies moving in mom? Some moms don't nurse until they are done delivering. Do try putting the baby to a nipple. Do you feel any glands at all?

If not, you should get some formula. Look for powdered by PetAg and get a needleless syringe. Baby is fed tummy down and head up, one drop at a time into its cheek. Let swallow and repeat. Baby and formula must be warm to feed. Put the bottle in hot water to warm it. Never the microwave.

Any more kittens? Did the kitten try to nurse ,if not did you find what you need to feed him or her ? How is mom if she can't get up you can hand feed her kitten food and hold water in a shallow dish up to her

My cat went into labor earlier in the week. 9 hours went by after the first kitten was born and she hadn't had any more. We took her to the vet, they did x-rays and she had no more kittens inside her. Although one kitten isn't all that common, the vet assured me that it does happen and it doesn't mean anything is wrong. X-rays are really the only way to be positive that there are no more kittens inside and no complications.
