Well her belly looked like it dropped about a week ago. Since last night around 8pm her breathing rate has drastically increased. Today she has spent all day between her birthing box and my lap still breathing shallow and fast. Shes been licking her tummy alot but not her lady parts so much yet. I think she is still phase 1 labor and im starting to get a little concerned since it has now been 26 hours but she doesnt seem like shes in distress.. so i guess its the waiting game lol

Does this look like labor? No discharge but her vulva looks a little wet. She isn't doing this consistently but is hiding today. @sarthur2

Yes, early stage one labor. She's probably miserable.
She seems okay. Just hanging out in our laundry room where all of her stuff is. I have kmr and other necessities ready. This stage can last quite a while right?

She's sleeping and her breathing is normal now. I guess time will tell!

It could be pre-labor, which mimics real labor and can occur on and off prior to the real thing.

It's good you're all set with KMR! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

No kittens and mostly normal behavior today. She's got me on my toes! I've read on here that once you feel the kittens it's another 2-3 weeks. I just started really feeling their kicks about 5 days ago do maybe she isn't close?

If she mated during the first two weeks in June, like you think, she's due soon.

If not, she may have a couple more weeks to go.

It's hard to say when you don't know for sure when she mated or her nipples pinked up.

All you can do is observe and wait it out!

Remi has been a little more vocal today. I also noticed a little bit of yellowish discharge on her bottom. Normal or worry some?

Yes, that should be her plug, or part of it. (Use the big @ sign at the top of the box to page me!) [emoji]128522[/emoji]

She had some more plug yesterday night. I checked on her at 3 a.m and she seemed to be in the first stage but this morning she's just acting normal now. I think this is worse than waiting to go into labor myself lol

No need to be concerned that she lost her plug over 24 hours ago right? She's not showing a lot of signs of early labor but I think she may slowly be on her way there? Kneading what she lays down on, wanting to be touched much less, slowed eating. Kitties are still kicking away. No more mucus but some brown/red crusted discharge on her bottom. It also seems open more? I can't say for sure though.

Well she is now leaking a clear but a somewhat thicker fluid from her bottom.

These are all normal pre-labor signs. Cats can lose their plugs up to a week in advance, but your cat sounds like she will probably deliver in the next 24-36 hours.

Keep an eye on her! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I will! Is the clear fluid plug or waters?
