Hey guys! Wild and Wonderful Animal Rescue here,  I rescued these kittens about 2 weeks ago, they were five weeks old- I have their Momma too- they are from a feral colony that I am working with. The day after I brought them home I discovered that one kitten had a HUGE (compared to the size of the kitten anyway) hole on its lower abdomen full of maggots. I rushed her to the vet and they cleaned it out stapled it up and gave her a bunch of pain medicine and antibiotics. She is all healed up for the most part! Now I am hoping you guys can help me with sexing both kittens. I tried to get good pictures but they are very wiggly lol. I believe they are both girls but now I am thinking the one with the wound might be a male? Also enjoy some of their adorableness.

Thanks

Thank you everyone! When I took the first one to the vet two weeks ago (for the open wound) it was HUGE. The size of the missing fur. And it was really close to the genitals, so the vet had told me he thought it was a girl at that time but the more I looked I was thinking that it was a boy and the other was a girl! Thanks guys! Also when can I spay their momma? They are weaned and not nursing off of her now and I just got a voucher to get her spayed but I wasn't sure when I should make the appointment for.
Thanks!

Oh ok! I didn't know if I had to wait so long to make sure that she still wasn't producing milk or anything.

The black kitty in this picture is momma! She is bonded to another cat that I have right now that just had an emergency spay for a pyometra. I am hoping to get Tonks spayed soon and hope to adopt them about together because they are pretty bonded!

It would be awesome if they could stay together. You'll just have to make that the requirement.
