Is this kitty neutered?

I've been friendly with a young kitty around my apartment complex. Does he look neutered to you guys?

Well...maybe.  I'd need a much better lit photo to really call it.  How old does he seem to be?

Thanks.  There's just no way to tell from that picture.  Is there a particular reason you asked?  If you are considering having him neutered, a vet may be willing to take a look for you for free IIF you explain that you are trying to assist in the feral cat problem, and you agree for that vet to do the neuter if he isn't.  Also, there may be TNR groups in your area who would come and check him for you.

It's hard to say for sure, but it kind of looks like he isn't. If he'll let you, cop a feel . You can easily feel the testicles in there if he has them.

I think he does look neutered. There is obvious space between his anus and penis. So... I vote neutered male

Don't we just have the most fascinating discussions on these threads?  I have spent more time in the few month since I joined closely examining photos of cat fannies than I had in the entire preceding 60-odd years of my life!  But I'm still not sure.  One time I think, yep...neutered...the next I think..oh wait, are those?  I just can't make up my mind,

I just wanted to comment; you should see the pictures I shared when my rescue pony was pregnant and close to giving birth.  

He's a kitty i feed sometimes. He could be owned because i see a collar on him sometimes. But hes gotten quite a bit skinnier lately so ive been concerned. He also wants more attention than hes getting i guess since it seems like he wants to come inside. He sits by my door and such. Poor little guy.

You will get the most amazing suggestions on this site...but MOST of them work.  And "testing the waters," so to speak, certainly will.

I tried touching them but im too inexperienced and cant tell. I tried feeling up my own kitties to compare too lol. Im going to go to walmart to buy some extra kitty litter. Planning on taking the little guy to the no kill shelter soon. If they don't have space i will have to vet him and find him a home. He looks really skinny compared to before so i dont know whats going on with him. I have seen collars on him twice but he may have taken them off. He is pretty friendly, very cute and smart and i wish i can take him in but i feel that 2 kitties are my limit. Yesterday he stalked my boyfriend because he knew my boyfriend was headed to my apartment. He layed down right in front of my door and let himself in when i opened the door for my boyfriend (so smart)! My boyfriend also thinks the cat doesnt look like its really being looked after. If he does actually have an owner...well i guess ill find out what's going on.

It's ridiculous how people just abandon their pets. I feel like once i took care of the previous stray problem new stray kitties just appeared! So sad. This is the 4th kitty ive had to help within the past year at this apartment. Theres also another skinny black kitty who comes to me for food. But she is not friendly and very wary of everyone.

Well, you tried.  The shelter folks will certainly be able to tell, and to handle the situation if not.  Bless you for taking care of this little waif.
