These are what I am currently rotating, would love some opinions on this line up (all canned, most are pate style):
Merrick: duck, kitten dinner (think that's chicken based), rabbit, (some others I forget, she's eaten them)
Nature's Variety Instinct: rabbit, duck
Nutro: chicken, chicken & shrimp, salmon
Nutro Max Cat: duck, venison
Merrick: Cowboy Cookout
BFF: tuna shrimp
Weruva: Steak Frites, Nine Liver, and a chicken one I can't remember
Stella & Chewy Freeze Dried: chick, chick, chicken; chicken and salmon, duck duck goose
Primal: salmon and chicken
Nature's Variety "Mixers": I use this for flavors she's not crazy about, like turkey -- freeze dried topper I mix in with the can.
I have read a lot, am considering making my own homemade raw + supplements mix, but for now I am trying to feed her "good quality" canned. I've looked at different sites, read a lot of articles, and looked at Dr. Pierson's chart from 2012....I know to look for low carbs, no starches, etc. But her chart is from, well, 2012. it's all so overwhelming.
Are the foods above still considered good reputation foods? I went to the pet store the other day and thought I was in the right store for Soulistic - but, nope...but I bought some of theirs (Authority) and Kit loved it, so maybe that can go in the rotation as well.
Thanks for any thoughts on this. She gets fed 4 times a day, probably a total of about 6 ozs; sometimes more if she's had a high energy day -- she's about 3 mos old, so that's most days
