Ok...I admit it! I'm addicted to QVC & HSN!
I've been eye-ing these hair products for awhile now & I finally decided to give them a try. Has anyone tried these? Nick Chavez

I've seen him do some wonderful stuff on TV...so I'm hoping that I can do the same thing. It's just so hard to do with wild hair like mine!

So...anyone tried it or know anyone that tried it? I'm hoping that I didn't just waste my money on this stuff!

Edit: If you click on the link, go to Nick Chavez & it'll give you all the details. I won't let me link from there for some reason.

The products don't seem to be too very different, nor more expensive, than good salon brands like Paul Mitchell (which I use), Nexxus, or Redken.

I'm hooked on the St-Ives line of products. Since I colour my hair @ home, I use their shampoo and conditioner for colour treated hair, and I love it! I also use their body wash, and facial cleansers... call me a one-product girl!

I have´t tried those product, but my opinion is that it the hair product is good and your hair likes it, it is never a waste of money!

I always buy my hair products at the hair saloon, but of course they are more expensive there, but also last much longer. Since I don´t have money at the moment, I decited to buy a shampoo in the grocery store. After half a bottle I gave up, my hair was like a barbed wire, I had to wash it more often, and use more shampo each time. So in the end, I guess this shampoo was the same prize as the one I had bought in the saloon that lasted me about 8 months, since only a drop was neaded each time, and my hair was healthy and beautyful. And even if it was more expensive....well, my hair is a big part of my apearances, I want it to be well taken care of.

My latest find is a Paul Mitchell line for color-treated hair. Both the shampoo and daily conditioner have a sunscreen added. I have been using them for 2 months and have seen a lot less fading in my hair color. I am thrilled. For some reason, my hair has a real hard time hanging onto color. Even my stylist is frustrated by it.

Deb25-

I have the same problem. I have brown hair with red highlights. After a week I can see the color fading. My hair is very pourous and I cant keep the color in at all. Last month I went out and bought this red color enhancing shampoo by Biolage and it is the best! The minute that I got out of the shower I was like woah!
I only use it about once a week and my hair looks great
