I could have easily voted for ALL ENTRIES because all are such beautiful photos of relaxed cats. I am glad I remembered today, I started to vote several times in the past days, but it was too difficult to narrow it down. So, today, being the last day, I had to put my mind to the matter. GOOD LUCK TO ALL ENTRANTS!!!!

Your picture of Thor, Loki, Kimi, Lewis and Jorge won the most votes! I think that liquid cat was just too much
To everyone who entered and/or voted, we are delighted that our batch of kitties won this competition. We are very surprised at the reaction to our photo being so positive, when I picked the photo, it was instant for me, but I did not expect that so many others would have the same smile that it gave me while choosing, so thank you all so much.
We are new members to this site and have been very impressed with the quality and content of the site, it is very informative and supportive. We have mainly been active on the loss of life/or illness threads of feral cats, since we are rescuers of abandoned cats and kittens here in the Philippines. It was not a role we planned for, and it just sort of happened. We developed a reputation online, and now people contact us when they find kittens. Being a member of this site has allowed us to become better care takers for the little cute critters, and my wife is currently hand feeding a litter of 5, which turned up in a box outside the veterinary hospital where we had another cat being treated, you can see the litter/family here, they are so cute and she is doing an amazing job with them. http://www.thecatsite.com/t/323496/...-hospital-on-friday-we-came-across-these-guys
Please visit that thread and take a look at the little cuties going through their feeding cycle. In honor of the cat, Nick, for which we were contacted to help, but it was too late and his illness had progressed to far for him to be rehabilitated and he passed away 2 days ago. We dedicate the winning photo to little Nick, without him coming into our lives for the brief time he did, we would not have been at the hospital to rescue the abandoned kitten in a box. We don't believe in coincidence, and Nick led us to the litter. Thank you Nick, you fought a good fight, and I know that you are happy now, the pain is gone, and you went out surrounded by people that love and care for you, just the way it should be.
Finally, since we live in the Philippines and cannot receive the prize for the photo competition, we would like to give the prize to our favorite photo in the group. So please congratulate @Draco for his awesomely cute photo of Cassie! For us, she made us smile instantly, and stuck with us throughout the competition. Thank you all for such warm of wonderful photos, the competition was a good distraction from some of the heartache and stress that we have been coping with over the last week.
So once again, congratulations to Cassie and @Draco for winning over our hearts with the buried face photo, it was just what the doctor ordered!
I'm really in awe of what you and your wife manage to do. Thank you for saving so many cats. I'm glad to hear that Nick's passing wasn't in vain, I hope you manage to find good homes for a few of those kittens.
