I just noticed this area on my kittens cheek. She has no other symptoms or issues and is her normal self. Does anyone know what this could be? The area doesn't seem to be bothering her.

I've had her for a couple weeks. She has a habit of every night when I got to bed, she lies on the blanket and nurses on it, I believe? I can here her suckling on it and she's kneading and pawing at it. Could it be that?

I don't think that's it. Maybe feline acne? Are you using plastic bowls? That often causes cats to get acne.

Right now I've only been using a little metal bowl that I got from PetCo.

I would get her to the vet and ask them to check her out and rule out ringworm.

Thanks everyone! I'm going to call the vet in the morning. Also, I have another cat in the household, who's older. If it is ringworm, would he also be exhibiting similar symptoms? I've checked him over and can't see anything. He's up to date on all his shots and has never had any health problems.

Ringworm is very contagious, but that doesn't mean your other cat has it. Wait and see what the vet has to say.
