I have to wait a week until our vet visit.
21 people have looked at this question and nobody has made a guess. In my opinion, from that picture, assuming it's a very YOUNG cat, I would guess BOY.
LOL, I was about to respond and say girl. . .the openings are very close together. But the picture is a bit unclear, so if what I think is the vulva is actually the testicles, I could be wrong. Post more pics, different angles, please! 
I agree it isnt all that clear, and the vet will determine exactly in a week. Go ahead and vote girl and I'll vote boy and we'll find out in a week!
I think girl but the colour makes reading depth hard in the pic how old is kitty, it is easier shortly after birth because like humans the genitals are swollen from mom's hormones and the apper larger then shrink

She/he is almost 9 weeks now, I'll try to get some clearer pictures but she/he is so wriggly!

I think you have a male with the better picture as the lump by his butt looks like testicles to me but your vet will know for sure. Cute kitty!

Can you try taking a photo from behind of your kitten standing? I think a lot of the confusion here may be the angle of the first photo. Either way, so stinkin cute!
Try patting your cat he or she won't care even if you feel silly a penis and scrotum will be furry and raised and a vulva won't . We have a litter and my six year old has been enjoying sexing ( lifting tails) the two that are both all black short hairs "oh that's bear he has a furry penis " she Thinks potty talk is funny
