It looks like its a really faint green mucus. I'm thinking its more of her mucus plug.

I think shes having contractions. She gets more vocal when having them.

The plug normally is a faint green color. It shouldn't smell. That's great write, down when the contractions started so you can time how long a normal contraction to kitten cycle is for her.

I have no idea when they started. As far as ive counted, (i could be wrong), they are six minutes apart. No water break yet. Thw mucus is a faint green color and theres no odor. :)

That's the plug then. You just want a general time frame on how long it takes to have each kitten so you know when you should expect the next one to come out, not the individual contractions themselves.

No sooner had i posted that she was pushing did one pop out lol. All black kittens. All 5 healthy and active. All latched. Two girls and three boys i think. The 5th one is a runt female that I'm keeping. The three boys are named Sirius, Lupin and Draco. The girls are Hermione and Luena. Hermione is the one I'm keeping. :) i fed Momma in the nest both dry and wet food. She ate all the placentas too so she should be good to go. They're so tiny OMG!!!!

Hooray! Congrats! [emoji]128149[/emoji]

If mom has diarrhea it will be from the placentas.

You'll need to cover the sides of the laundry basket, as the holes are not safe for tiny kittens. They can get a head or paw stuck and badly injured in the coming days. Or better yet, get a cardboard box and cut a door in it for mom. It's much safer.

Keep a close eye on the runt. She may need supplementing. Glad they are all healthy! [emoji]128522[/emoji]
