Glad mom is getting spayed Friday. She will still be able to nurse her kittens.

It sounds like they received shots of convenia.

In the last paragraph of #17 post of this threadI mentioned/asked about the pale stool. It's the orange kitten ,Noodle; I didn't ask vet about it because I didn't know which kit on Saturday. Sunday my 9 year old reported it it me " mom noodle had a pale pooh!"
I have seen on pale pooh every few days for 4 weeks.
I don't know why I have never been offered terrimcyin ointment .
Two kittens eyes are clear already but Noodles who has only one goopy eye and it still looks sore .one girl kitten in same boat.

You'll need to request Terramycin. Sounds like they need it.

The pale stool is likely from an infection in the intestinal tract, and needs antibiotics to clear, so another vet visit is in order. Or call and ask if you can pick up meds.

If it's an infection would the convina shot not cover it? I wonder if terrimcyin is just not dispensed here?
I will call and see.I juggling vets one farther with better prices but only one vet so less hours and a larger practice that won't spay with vaccines and many vets so eve and weekends.
I'm always seeing pet foods that I can't find mentioned who knew fancy feast makes a kitten the nutrition first is the only wet kitten I can find.
Thanks again [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Canada but in the Maritimes would be easier shopping wise if I did online but I have yet too do that. And the drug rules US vs canada health are not always the same; I have noticed with Vets that there are regional "habits " as much as regulations. I'm calling about it today . Yesterday was a holiday here.

The vets there should have terramycin, and the kitten may need a different drug than Convenia to treat intestinal bacteria.

Okay, hope the eyes get better. I'm still concerned about the one kitten's stools being indicative of intestinal bacteria or parasites.

Keep us posted.

Sarthur2 Sarthur2 I am to one was pale and orange, from pumpkin I suppose. Momma cathas to wait until this Friday because I called to late, was able to make appointments on short notice there before [emoji]128530[/emoji]. She is having blood test for FevL & FIV. And then we will start checking kits if she has either .
The kit Noodle with the funny pooh might go in between then if he seems ill besides I am stress because he was to be rehomed this week . I can't give away a sick cat but I can't afford to investigate to fast either...
He is still with one more does of dewormer and the antibiotics which would cover abroad amount of infections are active for 8 more days.
I am going to try and pump vet for information... When I get ointment today ( just a pick up)

If you rehome the kitten, just let the new owners know the situation. I would think the orange poop was from the pumpkin. I do understand the vet wanting to wait, unless he gets worse.

Picked the vet in the office brain about pale stool she said if it was liver problems ( which is what I worry about ) then he would not be gaining weight. He was the heaviest of the kittens ... Have ointment is not terramycin which the don't use at least at that practice but polymixin-neomycin-and bacitracin compounded

The ointment they gave you for the eyes will work similarly to terramycin. [emoji]128077[/emoji]

If they are internal it should not be a problem. At the least, she can be supervised with her kittens for a few days to make sure the scar is okay.
