I took my little old Tulip to the vet yesterday to have her teeth sorted. They took 2 out and cleaned up the rest. They were amazed at how kittenish she is at 18. I have a theory that Tulip actually doesnt know how old she is.
She does not seek the warm spot to sleep, she does not sleep anymore than my 3/4 year old. She plays like a kitten and makes no concesions when it comes to fighting with the others. Gets into mischief at any given moment and can still be found hanging from the curtains or jumping up high onto the bookcase. She tears around the garden at top speed and (now she has had her teeth done) eats for 2!
She is just fab! and I hope that when I am the equivelent age (whatever that is) I do as well - I think I'll miss out the curtain hanging though

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
Thats what i like to hear, a girl who does'nt let age bother her!!!
.

I think that's brilliant that she's never really changed.I know they say after they beome 2 years old they calm down a lot, but Rosie is 2 next month, and she's as hyperactive as she was when she was a kitten, only louder!!!.

Think young Tulip, thats my motto!.

That is so fantastic to read! I can only hope to be able to say the same of my kitties when they become seniors.

That´s great news! That is a respectfull age she has reached, and still have her youth on the inside!

If you were to immitate on her completely, and not miss out the curtain hanging, I´m sure you were to become an old lady that stayed in peoples mind for a long time! You might even get famous!
Hey, or even get into the Guinnes book of world records as the oldest lady to be hanging in curtains

I've read this post probably 10 times (and then get distracted at work and forget to post...) but it ALWAYS makes me smile! Good for Tulip! I hope she has a lot more kitten times ahead of her.

I just checked in on of my catbooks, that has a timeline comparing feline and human ages (wheather that is something to believe of not
), and there are 18 years of a feline equalent to about 85 years of human. (Isn´t that a fine curtain hanging age for adult human ladies?
)

Thanks all

Yeah she is a total sweetheart, a bit spiteful though but I let her get away with that. I WILL try to post a picture of her and let you all see this tiny 3K bundle of speed.
