Yesterday my cat princess broke her leg, i took her to the emergency vets at 2am this morning, all they could do for her was give her pain relief which last 8 hours. I have to take her to the vets again tomorrow for xrays etc, but until then my poor girl is suffering in pain :(.. She wont move at all, she hasnt moved since yesterday evening. My question is what do you do about you baby going to the litter tray if they cant move, she hasnt used it since yesterday, she didnt even want to move to eat i hand fed her even though i placed her in her bed lastnight right by everything for her, im scared she will make herself worse! Thank you in advance!

Can you check her temperature? Also, pain meds could have suppressed her appetite. Which leg is broken?

I would take her to the litter box a few times a day being as careful with the leg as possible. Hold her up so she doesn't put weight on it.

Shes usually a really lovely cat, she growls when i touch anywhere near her leg, i only managed to move her from the pet carrier this morning by lifting the blanket under neath her uet she still growled i think holding her by the litter tray might cause her too much distress . I dint understand why the emergency vets didnt just treat her lastnight rather than sending her home with a jab of pain relief :'(
