Just a general question-What's the temperature where you live?

What's the weather like?

And a poll=do you like or not the weather where you live?

This morning MUGGY 71. I was sweating getting ready for work.  Overhead cloudy and dark and dreary in some areas.

As of July 2016 we are in a moderate drought.

My hollyhocks are not growing and the flowers didn't do as well this year due to the high temps and no rain.

It's 26°C/78°F and sunny at 2:45 in the afternoon here. It's generally milder in Germany than in the U.S., but when it's hot it's miserable because air conditioning is very rare. When we were living in Philadelphia (PA), my German husband said he'd never been so hot or so cold in his life.

Hot and muggy here in NJ.

75 degrees at 9am. I think it's going up to low 90's today, perhaps higher.

The a/c is running full blast but not keeping up completely. We have really old doors that leak in cold/hot air (about to replace at least one!). We have central a/c but we also have  a built in a/c unit in the wall of our living room.  It was there when we bought the house. We installed the central ac but it's come in handy for those days when it's really disgusting outside.  It cools off the entire downstairs really well so we're loathe to take it out and patch the wall.

I hate this weather. I don't do well in it at all. This morning I'm feeling kind of sick to my stomach and headachy and I know it's from the heat.  I try to hole up in the house as much as possible days like this.

I can handle the heat; I cannot handle the humidity. We are to get close, if not in, to the 90s today and then again for a while later on this week. It's OK, I can deal with it. The stickiness and the mugginess, that I don't like.

At the moment (9:30AM) it is 75 degrees but is supposed to be close to 90 this afternoon with 70% humidity.  We get this weather a few weeks every summer here in New England. We have window ACs for the cats and our Sheltie to stay cool. I don't mind the heat since I grew up in Florida, but have never been a fan of high humidity.

This is at least the third day in a row of hot and miserable. SUPER Muggy! I am sick and tired of them saying "The Southern Coast of New England is the jackpot area for the humidity". Tomorrow is supposed to be even worse. :hmm:

we're getting a break today! it's forecast to be a high of 78 degrees F -- pretty much ideal for me. currently, it's 68 degrees F here, and sunny.

it actually doesn't matter much where i live now, i'll be too hot or too cold. with the raynaud's i have, it's progressed again over the last two years to the point that my body isn't able to regulate it's temperature well either way.

i don't know if drought has been declared here, but it's awfully dry. our grass isn't growing and quite brown-ish. this area has many apple orchards, and i'm sure the dryness will effect the apples growth, harvest this fall.

We got our break yesterday, it only got to 84 F  It's 75 right now and supposed to get up to 90.  It's supposed to be around 90 to 95 the rest of the week.  I don't do well with heat.  I actually do better with cold as long as it isn't the really frigid cold.

It's summer here, so the weather is warm/hot, high 70s, mid-80s, low 90s range. It's rainy today with dark skies and we're waiting for the storm to come in. It looks muggy outside and the city has a haze to it. Very happy to have central air! Our last home had no air conditioning and we survived off fans and one wall unit; that was a unique experience.

Its miserable out there right now. Very humid. Waiting for a good thunderstorm late this afternoon! kept the AC on 71 until 9pm then at 72. The air outside was cool but was trying to keep the house cool for my cats who insist on being outside in the heat!

Today is Day 3 (or, is it 4???) of horribly hot and humid in the tri-state area.

Yesterday, I was SO ill from it.  Had to go out early to get a new phone (cracked the screen of my old one).  Verizon store has NO a/c, broken and had to be in there for nearly an hour between purchasing/setting up. Finally broke down and went into the car to run the a/c while Tom finished up the transaction.

Got home and well, went down hill from there.  Migraine, sick to my stomach. Spent the day in bed. Couldn't even eat dinner other than making a watermelon/strawberry smoothie.

Felt terrible this morning also but had to go to work.

Our a/c at home is just barely keeping up and we have it set to 70 most of the time.

I hate summer.

I hear you-I hate this kind of weather too,. I hate AC but I hate humidity. I just like it normal 65 degrees. No extreme temps. I hope you are feeling better today. That sounds tough to deal with. I am thirsty all the time so I have to be careful I am not dehydrated. It doesn't take much for me to get this way. I want to try making my own pedilyte because the store bought stuff is GROSS and Gatorade is loaded with sugar. Be nice to find something with minerals without the extra sugar that only goes to my hips.

@sivyaleah  Hope you are feeling better today. I hate this weather also.

@foxxycat     This weather is horrible! I want to open the windows but I can't because it is too hot outside and we are expecting thunderstorms.

Right now, it is cloudy, very windy... looks like an impending storm...

I was so cold during the night! I really cannot take extended AC for several days. I need to warm up and get some real air. I shut the AC off for an hour this morning, but it got hot in here again. I did go outside to warm up, but could not stay long. The sun really bothers me, especially during this type of weather.

I went out again, to shake out some scatter rugs. I found the air so hot, heavy. There is no way I can sit out--even in the shade.

Artie is cool, and comfy in his quilt tent. I scared him with the vacuum early.. "The Monster" came out...

I don't know how to answer the poll, as I live in New England and we have so many different kinds of weather to love or hate. lol Hard to pick just one to attribute to this area!
Right now it's hot and humid. I DONT enjoy that, (though it makes air conditioning appreciated). It also causes thunderstorms late in the days, often. The older I get, the less comfortable
I feel about having wild bolts of electricity hurtling to the ground around my home.
But it's ok, because as we say around here, "Don't like the weather? Wait a moment, it'll change!" (I'm actually starting to think of Christmas *ducks, because people may
just start throwing things at me for saying that*

That's the way it is here we have the occasional thunderstorm but if anything it makes things worse.  We actually had one early this morning instead of the usual late afternoon or  evening.

We had some of the most violent storms in years pass through a few hours ago.

The rain was coming down so hard and fast and, at an angle that got completely under our deep porch - slamming into the windows. We found out there's still a small leak in one of them. Ugh.

Edited: to add our cable and internet was down for hours. Just went back up.  Just in time to hit the bed lol.
