I have two kittens. Neither seem to have sensitive tummies (unless my kids feed them cheese....yuck)They are brother and sister. Now, I was feeding them iams kitten food dry, and it all seemed well. I was going to just leave it be because it was working. But yesterday they got neutered/spayed and the boys gums seemed paler than I'd like them to be and I was just worried. So I cracked open a can of fancy feast kitten and they both went to town. Anyways, I only have a Walmart and a tractor supply type store nearby. Everything else is an hour away. So if your wet food choices were fancy feast kitten, merrick, science diet, blue buffalo, taste of the wild, natures balance what would you choose?

Oh I'm asking because I'm just paranoid now and I want to switch them to wet primarily with hard kitten food laying out.... Seems like they would be better off for it.

Any of those brands except for Science Diet. Wal Mart's generic Special Kitty brand is also fine to feed.

Tractor Supply has a decent canned food called 4 Health. I'm not sure if it has a kitten formula, though. The occasional "adult" canned food is fine to give to your kittens for variety.

It's great that you're going to switch them to wet food: it's so much better for them!

I agree with LTS3: those brands are fine and Fancy Feast kitten food sounds particularly decent. I'd stay away from foods with wheat gluten, though. (For example, in adult foods, stick with Fancy Feast Classics rather than feeding their Gravy Lovers or their Tuscan foods.) And yes, even Special Kitty sounds like it's not too bad at all!

The cat in your avatar picture is adorable!
