It happened twice now....yesterday afternoon and this morning. Both times were when she was in her crate. (During the evenings and when we are not at home she is in a very large (actually a dog) crate due to the alarm system.)  She eats her canned food in the a.m. around 9:00, and then again around 9 p.m. Around 3 p.m. she gets some dry food. When I got home from a doctor appointment yesterday around noon, she had thrown up large amounts of food and water in her crate. I didn't think all that much of it since, from time to time - though rarely - she does vomit due to hairballs, etc. What was unusual though was the amount - looked like much more than one feeding. Then, when I got up this morning and went down to get her out of her crate, there was more of the same. She has an appointment with the vet this afternoon, but I wanted to mention all this just to maybe get some feedback. There has been no change in food or living situation. She is the only cat, and has always eaten Little Friskies Seafood Entree (canned) and also Little Friskies seafood combination dry food. Thanks for any advice. Hopefully there will be no bad news forthcoming.

Thanks,

Keith

I am glad you are taking her to the vet.  It sounds like she may be experiencing nausea.  I went through something similar with one of my cats.  The vet gave her a shot for the nausea and the vomiting stopped.
