Hi all
My Chanel is 9 years old. She is very active, she has been eating normally, she gets plenty of sleep, she is always very alert, etc. Today, I noticed a bit of swelling/bumps around her mouth. The area is a bit of pink/red and appears to be affecting one side of her mouth more than the other. The few bumps she has sort of look like pimples. I have heard of cats sometimes having acne, but this just looks a little too extreme to be acne. Could this possibly be a disease or maybe even an allergic reaction?? I am extremely worried and am curious as to whether or not i should take her to the vet immediately.
I have attatched some photos. I apologize if they aren't the best of quality since she wouldn't hold still. (: Chanel hasn't been acting abnormally, nor does it seem like the swelling bothers her (but cats are great at hiding pain!). I appreciate all and any responses on how i should further take care of this, thank you!!
