Hello cat lovers!
The female cat that I got spayed at the local TNR has been doing great!
But these past few days I have noticed that the ear tip they cut was not smooth and something has been slowly growing.
It looks like a small balloon that has a scab at the top in the shape of a cone. The cone is probably puss that has been oozing out and mounting up.
Should I do something about it myself? Like try to remove the scab and put neosporin or some other local antiseptic?
Should I squeeze it (will it hurt her too much if squeezed) or just remove the scab and put the antiseptic?
OR leave it alone and hope it will resolve on it's own?
P.S: Grabbing her to get her in a carrier is near impossible without stressing this girl. She is still trying her best to trust me, but she went through a lot taking her to TNR and then for checkups on an open surgery site and eye laceration, so I don't want to stress her if there is a GOOD chance this will resolve on it's own.
