I'm living in Japan,English is 2nd language,
Living with 19yrs old sweet kitty boy Su.(Brown Tabby)
I cannot post photo cause I'm from iPhone and Su is on my lap for hours.cannot move.
He got CRF,getting worse in this 3week. ,now all I can do is to borrow oxygen mask for pets.
We are one human one cat family.

I just proud having sweet smart fighter boy .

Really sorry to hear Su is battling kidney disease. That disease has brought sorrow to many of us. At times it seems that it is way harder on us than it is for them. I hope you can find some comfort knowing he has reached an old age and all the good times that have happened during those 19 years. I am keeping both of you in my thoughts and prayers.

I didn't know(as Su is my 1st cat)CRF is such a brutal and terrible disease.I was thinking we can live with it slowly.

It's so sad many feline family is living with or taken away by this disease.
Yes,Su gave (and still giving)me wonderful 19years.
He has been always protective to me.
His beautiful spirit always saved me.
Now I'm trying giving back to him.

You are doing the right thing. Make him as comfortable as you can and give him lots of love to ease his pain. He knows you love him and will take care of him until he crosses the rainbow bridge. You have given him many good years, so don't be afraid to let him go when the time comes.

If you mean euthanasia,Here we rarely have that option.
I guess where euthanasia is common,he had already euthanized.It's beyond "his time".
If you mean it,please understand our culture,include me,rarely choose the way.We just grew up like that.not good or bad.sometime I even hoped we have the way.and Su is Japanese cat.

So,Su will choose his time.I'll support him til then,although it's emotionally hard.

I'm sorry if I'm over react.we grew up just without thinking about it.

I did not mean euthanasia. He is sick and it may be that his time is near. I just wanted you to know that caring for him like you are doing is giving him the most possible love in his last days.

I don't know how many days we have,(Su outlived Vet's predict)I will fully love him,cause he deserves it.

Sadly,It was really short time Su was staying here.He passed away yesterday.(Friday in Japanese time)

I hope there will be cure or some kind of help to ease the suffering of cats.

So sorry to hear about your beloved feline friend passing. Uou gave him the best life ever , a life full of love,care,food and companionship. And you stayed witb him right until the end.

I so sorry you lost Su so soon. You loved him and he loved you. You gave him 19 years of happiness. Remember him during the best times and hold him close in your heart.

Actually it was really long fight and I came here when almost the battle ends..

I am really happy in this nearly 19 years(as I lived with Su since he was 3 months old)with him.

I'm not sure but I hope Su feels same.

It was roller-coaster but really amazing years.He gave me those years.

Kaoritokyo, I am so sorry for your loss of Su. His spirit is now free and he watches over you. I wish you peace and memories of happiness.
