Best toothpaste? (my cat has pretty bad plaque)

Hi, my guy has pretty bad plaque on his canines. I have to brush his teeth daily so he doesn't have to undergo anesthesia. Would like to know what fellow forumers find to be the most effective toothpaste, with the least amount of potentially harmful ingredients?
