Hey there all you wonderfully awesome TCS members! Happy Tuesday!

What everyday objects do you constantly lose/misplace?

For me it would be my hairbrush. I almost always end up having to look around for the darn thing
 ah, so frustrating.

So many things but mostly keys. I am so good at hiding things from myself. I put something in a "safe place" and it's so safe that I can't find it for the longest time after.

Everything except car keys.  I really hate it when I set a glass down to get something and then can't fine it.  I wind up searching 3 rooms.

Nothing really. I'm pretty good at remembering where I put something down.

Now if you asked this question to my fiance that would be a whole other story.  His middle name should be "OMG where did I leave (fill in the blank)?"

For me is my mind. Have been forgetful lately

Because I do get forgetful, I'm careful to put keys back in my purse, sunglasses back in their case, etc.  Even so, I'm always looking around for reading glasses.

My watch. I need to wear it, but the expansion band is annoying, so I take it off wherever. Then I don't remember where I left it.

My last functioning brain cell, leaving 3 frazzled nerve endings and a rather jaded set of instincts to pay the toll.

My glasses. I take them off and put them somewhere, then can't see them.
:yeah: YES!!!!!! Me too...and way too often :doh2:

Also, meds boxes (my daily doses, not the whole packs), hairbands/clips, cell phone, cell charger.....think that's it on a regular basis.

For me is my mind. Have been forgetful lately :sigh: :lol3:
Actually - this is probably a LOT more accurate for me too :lol3: :anon:

My cell phone. I swear the darn thing gets up and moves on it's own. Sometimes I hear it ringing and I race around the house, flinging pillows and cats about in a race to find it before whoever is calling me hangs up.

I've seriously thought about getting a landline just so I can call my own cell phone and find out where it is.

Me too. I used to have a landline and would call myself if I could not find the phone.  Now I have gotten rid of that and there are still times when I misplace the darn thing. Once I had to wait for three days before somebody called me and I could find it by its sound. I even went down to the garage thinking maybe I had left it there, nope. Of course it had been there in plain sight the whole time. Of course if it had been bigger I probably would have seen it, but it's just a little 15$ black flip phone from Walmart so it just sort of blended in with everything. I should get one that is bright red, green or yellow, neon colors, so I would spot it but those cheapy phones don't come in those colors, just black.

Second thing are my glasses, can't see worth beans anything more than 3 feet away without them. And if it's on something  beige or brown or black, forget it, I won't see it even if it's just a foot away, I'll have to feel for it. But I have a habit of taking them off when I read a book and am slouching on the sofa or on the  bed. Thank goodness I don't do that when I look at the computer screen (desk top computer) but that's too far away for me to see so I have to keep them on.

Keys? Never. I have  a little plaque hanging next to my front door with hooks and the first thing I do when I come home is hang the keys up and then dump my purse, it's such a habit that I have honed over many decades that I don't misplace my keys. The only time that they don't end up there immediately is when I come home and have to hit the bathroom immediately, then it's possible that the keys get left in the door but that will be left wide open while I make a run to the bathroom and I'll see that the door is open and will also see the keys still in the lock.

Mine is fuchsia pink and has black cat charms and bells hanging off it. It still manages to hide from me.

Glasses many times they're on my head

When the TV remote vanishes we all know that's frustrating!

I hide things in secret safe spots then forget which hide-a-way spot I used... hid my wallet

...with the cats...
i don't misplace many things, actually. i believe in, 'a place for everything, and everything in it's place'. this prevents most things from becoming misplaced, for me.

two things that come to mind that i've lost track of and gone around the house looking for are 3 little cloth sachet bags, and the taxi company's business card. i just yesterday fixed the problem keeping track of the taxi company's business card -- i taped it to the fridge, and got an extra card during the ride to the vet's (which i'll keep in my wallet, so i have it when i need to call them to pick us up for the ride back home). the 3 little sachet bags are still misplaced. i did 'make do' though, using some old socks to create sachet-type bags containing cotton balls soaked with lavender essential oil -- which i placed between the mattress and box springs of both beds, and in the closets...to deter moths.
