Stage one labor can last for 24 hours. How long has she been like this?

If she pushes for an hour without birthing a kitten she may need a vet. Most cats do fine though.

Does she have a nest ready?

Morning all . Well still no baby kittens yet. They are still moving around. Narlia is fine in herself tierd but ok . She laid on me alnight bless her. I know its her 1st litter and can go on a bit longer . No discharge or blood so now plug totally go. Shes eaten her breakfast. Now shes sleeping . There wont be anymore kittens.i dont want to put her through this again. I know its the cricle of life. But shes knackered lol.my friend narlia's mum has just had her 3rd litter.but my friend wont have her done. I think it cruel.but they will be loved so much when they arrive. Ive got homes where they will be loved and looked after plus they will be done so no more kittens from her litter.unless males and owners dont want him done.... but i will recommend it xx

It's great that you're being so responsible about getting everyone fixed! Mom and babies can all be fixed when the kittens are 8 weeks old. Maybe the best thing to do would be to get them fixed, along with first vaccines, yourself and then have new adopters pay a small fee back to you? Males may not get pregnant themselves but they will certainly run around getting into violent fights and contributing to overpopulation if they are allowed outside. It's a much happier life to be fixed!

Also, would love to see photos of your girl'!
