Cat got some dishsoap with Choroxylenol in it on him. How toxic is this?

My cat got in the dishwater. I rinsed him off immediately and he began to lick himself which I suppose is normal. I then figured I had better check what was in the soap and it has Chloroxylenol .3% (I threw the soap out and will buy a safer one!!). He was rinsed off and it's a fairly low percentage for the active ingredient. Is it enough to make him go through the stress of going to the vet? I don't know what the symptoms of ingestion are for cats either-if it's not something to go in as an emergency over I can watch him to see if he gets ill. Will be giving my vet a call also.

I would just keep a close eye on the cat for now.  Call the vet if you need some advice or ressurance. If anything seems off with your cat (salivating, lethargy, stumbling, etc), then bring your cat to the vet ASAP along with the bottle of detergent with you (or take a picture on your smartphone or digital camera, if you have one) so the vet can double check the ingredients and determine how to best treat your cat.
