Hi everyone! My name is Dae. I live in Massachusetts and I'm a cat mom to two beautiful cats. My girl is named Trix. She's a 14 year old snow shoe that I adopted last year from a woman who was dying of cancer. It was a sad situation but brought us both comfort as she wanted to know her baby was going to someone who would love her and I had just lost my cat, Myron, after 15 amazing years together.

Not long after Trix, my husband rescued our 5 year old boy named Pumpkin who is an orange tabby and a big old beast. He's a gentle giant who came from a terrible abuse/neglect situation but he's doing great now and being spoiled rotten.

We also have a hamster named Lenore who bites a lot but I love her just the same.

When I'm not being covered in fur by my kitties I'm at work looking after young adults with mental illness living in a transitional living environment (residential). I used to be an EMT but I busted my back but I would love to get back to pre-hospital care since it's both exciting and rewarding.

I've been married 3 years to my best friend and we make music together when we're not working. We both love horror films and live music - mostly metal and rock. I have an electro music project that I do from time to time but I'm more into writing these days.

I think that about sums it up. I can't wait to get to know everyone. Thanks for reading!

Hi , welcome to the Forum, you will find everyone here is very friendly and helpful. I like horror as well such as Stephen king and the good old classic hammer and amicus horrors from the late 70,s.My little while bundle of fluff is Martha , she has her mug shots here and there on the website.
Enjoy the Forum

Same! I just watched Storm of the Century again the other day. Loved that movie. It makes me think of my cat when she sits on my chest every morning. "Give me what I want and I'll go away."

Not at 4am its not , good job I love her so much and want to squeeze her soooo much. Like Trix, Martha also had a bad start because her previous " owners" just wanted her so that could have her for her kittens to sell at a ridiculous price. She didnt even have a name when I first met her. But now she has lots of toys, 3 super soft beds, plenty of food and little treats but most of all she has a home she can call her home that is filled with love and cuddles
