Mommas usually prefer to have their nest so they feel secure.  A little darkish, cozy, shielded, so a garderobe (wardroom?) is often the ideal.

If you dont have anything such, you can perhaps arrange a nest in a dark corner...

Another plus with such compared with under the bed, is - you want to be able to handle the kittens if necessary, for examle when you weight them. Or want to look see everything is OK.   If you have fleece or flannel is good in the bedding.  Change the bedding now and then - at least twice a week.

Next question, what is better, arrange such a nice, idealic nest and hope momma herself moves the kittens in, or you put them there, so she comes after?

There are pro and contras...  You being there may play it by the ear.

A guess is,  her nest under the bed where she also delivered, begins to be smelly now, and she will soon want to move.  Be sure she HAS a good place to move to.

The playpen perhaps idealic in anoter couple of weeks.

She sounds happy where she is. Since you are giving her everything she needs there, I would leave her be. She will move the kittens when she is ready. [emoji]128522[/emoji]
