Thank you... I don't know how it happened, I was away on vacation for a few days... and I'll do anything to help her... she doesn't seem to be hurting so I think it happened a few days ago... I can't stand seeing her like this though...

Cats are excellent at hiding pain.  If it's as twisted as it looks, I assume it is quite painful.

With an open wound she really must see a vet. If the bones are not set properly and the leg splinted, the bones will not heal correctly and it could permanently damage the leg.

Setting and splinting the leg is not something you should attempt on your own as this can have great consequences too.

There isn't an open wound (that I can see) and I'm going to try and get some money pulled together to take her, hopefully in the next couple of days... I can't loose her, she's my world

Ok, perhaps that is a gray patch of fur I see on top of her paw?

I understand needing to get the funds. She needs to be seen by a vet ASAP to 1.) receive pain medication and 2.) Have the bone set.

Check out the links talkingpeanut talkingpeanut provided.

You MUST find a way to have her cared for by a vet. Even if that means surrendering her to a shelter or rescue group. I *know* this is not what you want to hear nor what you want to do, otherwise you wouldn't come seeking help on this forum. But, she must receive medical care.

Here's another link of possible resources to assist you in getting her help.

When we were trying to save Kitten I had my wedding rings in my purse and planned on selling them to raise some cash.  I have a clear title on a newer car. You really do start to consider all your options when you find yourself looking for extra cash.

The first thing we looked for were assets we could let go for cash quickly and not incur more cc debt.  Many of us have assets that suddenly mean little when faced with losing something we love more than ourselves.

Please call every rescue and shelter and see if you can obtain some help without surrender.

VCA hospitals offer a first free visit with a coupon.

I think it's dirt? I don't know, I'm scared to touch it, I'll clean it off, it's 1am right now so I'll try my best to get the money tomorrow

Thank you kittens mom kittens mom it's sorta really hard for me to get cash, given I'm 15, my mom is poor and says it'll heal on its own, but I really care about my baby and I can't stand to loose her, I hate seeing her hurt

Can you give us a basic idea of where you are located? Nearest city? Perhaps one of our members can offer some suggestions as to where to seek help.

I could probably do it myself, I called a nearby animal hospital and it's not as much as I thought it would be, I'm going to ask around my family for help, hopefully go tomorrow, if not I'll try setting up one

Update

Took her to the vet today, they took her vitals and didn't even need to xray to see it was broken. we didn't get her any medicine ($100 for 3-5 days worth of pain medication, I don't have that kind of money) but they ended up saying it needed to be amputated so I'm going to go to a vet (we ended up at an animal hospital) to see if there's any way we can save it. Our last resort is getting it cut off but if it has to be done, it has to be done. Everything is gonna be ok though.

I'm glad you were able to get her to the vet. Ask the vet if they will call in a prescription of Buprenex (Buprenorphine) to Roadrunner Pharmacy. I keep this on hand for the rescue and I pay $50-ish for 30 mL. (This is the most cost effect amount for us.) However, you wouldn't need more than 5 mLs or so for her.

With a break as bad as hers she needs pain meds. She will definitely need pain meds if she has the amputation.

Did the vet attempt to splint the leg at all?

Yes, I can understand that no x-Ray was needed. You can tell the leg is broken from the picture you posted.

Just want you to know how my heart aches for you, seeing your baby that way! Yes, they are great at hiding pain, but you are doing the best thing for her, even if it means amputation. It's incredible how adaptable cats are. She will be fine, and it sounds like she must feel the love you have for her which goes a long way in comforting her! Question: Did you leave her in someone's care, or did you leave her alone just with sufficient food and water? If she was left with someone, I'd be more than a little upset that they didn't get her immediate medical attention! Please post what happens and know we are here for you! <3
