I'm new here.. I joined hoping to get some advice on a cat I have! One that's been trying to find a home and been returned multiple times, all for the same reason. People don't like energetic, feisty cats! We may just end up keeping her, if she does okay with us... just because we don't mind a slightly crazy cat. I made a post about it in the behavior forums..
Anyway, this is our kitty, Garnet. We're not really sure of her age, but I'd guess maybe about 4 or 5 years old. Rescued from living outside, in the barn. She was always one of the more social ones. She's spayed now, and vaccinated, and her kittens that she had when we took her in are with a rescue and working on finding homes of their own!
And this is the "problem" kitty, Peaches. She is apparently actually from one of Garnet's litters from last year, before we moved in and started trying to get them all spayed and neutered! She also had a litter, at the rescue, but unfortunately she got so unhealthy from being so stressed that her kittens didn't make it. She is now spayed and vaccinated, too and is about a year old.
