Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum, don't really know how it works. My cat is pregnant and by my estimations she is due at the end of next week. However, yesterday o notice a few bloody spots on her bed. My first instinct was to check her and she was bleeding in that area. It stop quite quickly but the same thing happened today. Is this normal? Or do I need to take her to the vet?

Some red colored discharges are common and natural. But if its real blood, more than a few droplets, it may be alarming.  If unsure, please contact your vet, phone at least.

Better safe than sorry!

My cat is pregnant, she is very young. Not even a year old. She is quite large and my guess is she is due on Friday. But I may be early or late on my estimation. About a week ago she was bleeding a little just few droplets then she stopped. The same ting happened the next day. And now today I have noticed it again. She has quite runny poo and it constantly going into my cupboard where her litterbox is. Does this mean she will go into labour soon or is the bleeding a bad sign?

I think its nearing yes. The litter is pressing on her urine bladder, so she wanna pee the whole time.  And runny poo is quite common too.

These droplets of blood Im not happy with as they do recur, but its common enough, so I dont to be an alarmist.

Still, be vigilant and be sure you know hot to reach your vet - cats CAN be sick although they are high preg.

And please continue to report, even if nothing much happens.

Thankyou for your advice. I have heard of some cats bleeding like mine is but I just wasn't sure due to her young age. O just wanted to be safe. She is resting now. Will keep you updated :)

Still nothing. I think her due date is tomorrow so it should be soon. I really hope that everything is okay inside. She is bleeding a little bit today. Not enough to drip though. Only a very small amount

Following because my pregnant cat had a little bit of a bloody discharge too, but I don't think she is due for a couple more weeks, so I am as anxious as you are!

Yep I know how you feel. I was worried at first but it wasn't much so I didn't make myself alarmed. I hope that everything is okay, for my baby and yours :)
