Hi my cat recently got two bald spots on her face sometime within the last hour. I saw her around 6 or 7 hours ago and she clearly didn't have them. They don't seem to be causing her discomfort, but from what I understand one of my roomates accidently locked her in a bathroom for a few hours so I can't decide if she hurt herself (possibly panicking from the sound of fireworks) or if she got into anything. I just need some advice on it so anything helps! Thanks.

I can't tell from the picture but any spots on cats make me think of ringworm! If she starts scratching it best to see a vet immediately!

It could be many things, including injury from something in the bathroom. Watch her closely and if she gets any more (ringworm spreads quickly) a call to the vet or a vet visit will be needed. They will also get bigger in size. Ringworm also has a 'ring' of red with a clear middle. You might want to examine the area and see if it might be a scrape or puncture.  If she is a strictly indoor cat I don't see how she could get a fungus, unless one of your human friends gave it to her. Don't touch them. and if you do, wash your hands.  All the luck!
