Hey cat lovers! I adopted this cat from the previous owner who was overwhelmed by his kitten. He bought it for around 700$, but knows nothing else about it. Can you list the possible breeds?

It's very fluffy, and sheds its coat in the summer, extremely fluffy paws, thick nick coat. medium length fluffy tail. Likes to cuddle 24/7. He's 2 years old and weighs 4.5 kilos. Legs are relatively short with thick bones.

He sure has a lot of Persian traits. The big round eyes....Shorter rounded ears. Curly whiskers...... I think the stocky build is a Persian trait too..  I've only seen a few Persians up close, but he looks like one to me.If he's not I would be surprised if he didn't have some Persian in him....  He's gorgeous. He sounds super laid back too.

Thank you!! Just wanted to make sure he's of healthy weight for his breed! I like how fat he his right now, and for a Persian that's still within the healthy weight range :D

He looks a lot like my Forest. I don't know exactly what breed he is as he was dumped by his former owners. I've been told he looks like a Doll-Face Persian or a Chinchilla because he doesn't have the same flat face most Persians have these days.

He isn't a chinchilla, more likely a shaded silver. He has way to much tipping ( the tips of his hair are black) to be a chin. Chinchillas appear to be white cats just slightly dusted with with black (or blue) giving a silvery appearance. The cat in my avatar is a light shaded silver. The cat the post is about is a tabby - see the barring on the tail, and is much darker.

He is beautiful. He might have some Persian in him. Regardless he looks good and has a wonderful home now.

Here's my Persian cross that joined the family as a 3..5 month old lost kitten. SHe's turning 12 in August. She does have the stocky body, coat density, round eyes and is a Black Smoke.

@SirFluffsalot   I'd say he looks like a doll faced (traditional) Persian. He is gorgeous. I have 2 of them- both female. Mine are on the small and very small side. My Lilith is 7 pounds and Sophie might be 5.

Lilith (wanting to know why I am disturbing her relaxation time with that stupid flashing device again)

Sophie (getting into mischief- AGAIN!)

@Norachan  I didn't realize that Forest was so much bigger than Sophie (his very long distance girlfriend). They'd still be adorable together.
