Has anyone here tried it? Could you describe the flavour? A local gourmet shop here has started selling it and I'm curious about trying it. Problem is at $6 for a small bottle I want to get a sense first of whether I'd like it! I've tried ewe's milk feta before and didn't like it, but I don't really like cow's milk feta either. So that's not really an indication.
I don't like goat's milk or cheese, so if it's anything like that I won't like it.

I don't believe I have ever seen sheep's milk for sale here, only goat's milk.  I don't shop in gourmet stores though.  I looked it up and it is supposed to have a creamier taste than either cow's or goat's milk.

I would imagine it has a taste similar to goat's milk, so if you don't like that it may be $6 wasted.....unless you want to give the cats a very expensive treat :winkblue: Like goat's milk, it should be pretty digestible for cats :)

This is one thing I found: "sheep milk is richer, thicker, MUCH sweeter than either the goat or cow's milk... almost the consistency of eggnog. it's like sweetened, butter-colored half and half."

Sounds yummy! Now I want to find some. . .:D.

Hmmm, I like the sound of rich and sweet. Now if only I was richer and could treat myself! :lol3: Maybe I'll give in to my curiosity and buy some. I'll update this thread if I do.

I've tried sheep's milk cheese in the past and it is fantastic. I can't imagine that the milk itself could be bad. Sheep are such sweet, peaceful animals. That's probably why everyone says their milk is sweet too.

If you buy it and don't like the taste, you might could dilute it and use it for baking.

I bet it would be awesome base for some creamy cheese base like macaroni and cheese or other type cheese item? I love full fat milk that's fresh. I would try it=I bet it would make mashed potatoes taste really good. You can always mix it with a bit of wet cat food for the critters. I guess I am adventurous. I would love to try it but never seen it.
