My cat looks like she is in pain/uncomfortable when she is trying to lay down.. She puts her legs under her but she continues to move them the whole time while laying down. When I try to touch her legs she moves them.. I don't know if it's me over thinking or what. I tried playing with her and she still runs after her toys so I don't know if she is hurt or not... She'll be a year in 2/3 months..

The only thing TCS members can suggest is to take your cat to the vet for an exam. We can't diagnose your cat online. Being in pain and discomfort can be any number of things and only a vet can examine your cat and run blood work and other tests to determine what the problem, if there is one, may be.

Please call your vet today and at least talk to the vet about the discomfort you think you are seeing in your cat. The vet will be able to determine if it's something that needs to be seen right away or if you can do a "wait and see" type thing for a few days before bringing your cat in. If the vet is closed on weekends, call anyways and see if the after hours voicemail message has a phone number you can call for urgent and emergency issues.

How long has your cat appear to have been in discomfort? Does she go outside? Can you think of anything that might have lead to the apparent discomfort?
