Hi I am brand new on here but I had to comment because I have the same problem!! My ragdoll is 66days today (as of midnight) for the last 14days she has been having this green coloured discharge my vet said it was the mucus plug she has had a fine bill of health throughout but we don't have any babies!! I just checked one of her nipples and I can express colostrum. I just don't know when to expect labour!!!!

I hope that's all it is. A green discharge for 14 days seems excessive, and makes me wonder if it's infection. But, your vet said she's healthy.

Your cat at 66 days should be heading into labor and delivery anytime now.

Is your cat nesting at all? Is her belly hard or rippling?

Hi thanks so much for your reply - I immediately thought infection I have had my girl to the vets 4times and they assure me it isn't [emoji]128512[/emoji] I have other cats and dogs so I have got a cage with towels etc in it which she seems to go in there to sleep

Can you feel the kittens moving? I agree that it does not sound right. I would almost go for a second opinion. |Even when she loses her mucus plug the discharge should not be green.

Oh, goodness! Six kittens! Congratulations!

Are they all latched and nursing well?

Can you weigh them with a kitchen scale? It's the only way to know if they are gaining the necessary 6-10 grams per day. With six kittens, there is bound to be a runt, or even two runts, who get bullied off the best nipples, and therefore are not thriving.

It would be good if you purchased kitten formula and a small, 1-2 mL needleless syringe to supplement with if needed. Mom can drink a dish a day too. She needs the calcium for nursing.

How is mom doing? We'd love to see pictures of the family when you get the chance!

Please ask questions here! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I am so glad it all went well. What a family! All the advice above is great - you must be prepared. Weighing them is key, then you will find any problems before it gets serious.
