You may eventually need a bottle but she's too weak for now. For syrup, you can put a bit on your finger and then put it on her gums.

Okay! I'll check it out.

How did the syrup and feeding go this time? Did you get 1 mL into her?

It's fantastic that she is drinking that much! Perhaps you can see if she will latch and suckle from mom soon. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

If her poop is turning yellow that is a good sign. It's usually yellowish from the kitten formula. It should be toothpaste consistency.

You said she's eating well, yet is not very alert?

I watched your videos. The female looks pretty vocal. Can you try putting her to mom's nipple?

And she needs a heat source like a hot water bottle when she is away from the litter.

She has a water bottle I keep filling up every few hours.. shes noisy for food and will wave her arms around for feed but other than that she lays really floppy and can't shuffle like the others can when shes hungry she cries and tries to lift her head but even that seems hard for her until picked up

I hope she gets stronger soon. She looks very sweet.

Is she able to latch to mom if you put her to a nipple, or does she not have a strong sucking reflex yet?

I understand. Poor little girl doesn't need to get left cold and hungry again. At least she's eating well for you! That's a very good sign. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Aww... poor Emmy.  Keep fighting sweetie kitty.

@CustardsMummy  I know the site advisers will be back with more advice, but one thing I've seen them suggest when there's a runt being supplemented, like your Emmy, is to try to get her to latch on to Mama when the other kittens are sleeping. That way there's no one around to push her away.

Anytime Emmy can feed with mum and get her milk is good. I agree that you must supervise it though. Just the warmth and closeness of sibs and mum will help as she hopefully gets stronger.

How much do the boys weigh?

And do you have help feeding Emmy through the night?
