Till I can see her again..

 Boogie was a small black stray. I had noticed her running around the neighbors yard in winter 2015. I knew she didn't belong to them, and no one knew where she came from. I enticed her with dog food, (she was that hungry) and the next day she came back. I brought her inside and fed her, got to the vet and she "owned" us just a few short days after that. She got along so well in the house, she even made our dogs hers! She would sleep under the covers with me at night, and make sure everyone had their turn at having her in laps for one on one "Boogie Love".. She was everywhere in the house her family was and follwed me to help me in the flower beds. She had no problem letting you know her food bowl was half empty and Lord help you if you forgot her treats.(she was very vocal)

On March 27th storms were coming and I called and called for her outside, but to no avail. This was not like her. My son finally found her, she had been hit and killed by a car in front of the neighbors house I first saw her a year before. We were and still are heart broken. Just a few days after, Andy showed up, now our orange tabby. Thank you Miss Boogie, for sending him to help heal the huge hole left in our hearts and lives! .

Miss Boogie had a warm and loving home, and she knew it, even though it was for a short time, she made her mark on your hearts and now ours.  She sounds like a very fun kitty to have around.  I'm sure there was never a dull moment.

I'm glad you have a new kitty in your life to love you and to be loved.

Life is mysterious and full of wonderful gifts at moments of great sadness.

You should introduce your orange tabby on the new cats on the block section.  I'd like to meet him.

Boogie was stunning, I am thankful she was given a loving home. It is heartbreaking when they are taken from us. I  am sorry for your loss

Boogie sounds like she lived the life she wanted, she found a loving family and a wonderful home to call her own, you will be surely blessed for opening your heart to her. I'm sure she sent Andy to help you with your grieving, she would never want to see the people she loves so much be so sad. You have many precious memories to comfort you in the future,try not to dwell on the end, it brings nothing but heartache. Celebrate having that little girl in your life, she brought you so much. The bond you formed can never be taken from you, it is intertwined with your soul and will be with you always. Thank you for letting us know of this special sweetheart, she will be in the thoughts and prayers of many as she so deserves. RIP sweet Boogie, you will be greatly missed but will be forever held in loving hearts forever more!

Oh she was gorgeous.  I am so sorry for your loss!  Isn't it funny how sometimes they just show up?  She sent one that needed you in your time of need! 

Bless you for taking Boogie in and giving her a loving home.  I'm so sorry for your family's loss.  I'm glad that Andy came along, just when you all needed him most.
