Hey guys, check this video that I found:
I know the doctor is talking about chemo as it relates to humans but I can just imagine the percentage would be higher for cats and dogs. What do you all think of this?

It is true that Chemo doesn't have a great success rate but there are successes.  Of course with all animals 'success' is measured in terms of a remission rather than a 'cure'  I know with humans the term 'cured' isn't used anymore.  At one time they would deem someone cured when there was no cancer after 5 years but that isn't true anymore.

One thing with cats they tend to not have the bad side effects that are seen in humans.  If the cat tolerates it well and the owners can afford it then I think it is worth a try.

I know there are huge and in some cases obscene profits being made with medicines not just chemo.  I have long suspected that there were some kickbacks involved, there usually are when large profits are involved.  I don't like that but it is what it is.
