`He is a seal point "siamese-mix".  As adult he will prob look as siamese old type, nowadays called for Thai.  I he gets longer fur, he may pretend to be a Ragdoll...

But what his parentage is, we really dont know. Its enough both of his parents were carriers of the point gene. They can have almost any looks.  And voilá! on kitten of four become points, often with the looks of a siamese old type.

So happerns for example sometimes in the Russian Blue breed - because they used some blue pointed siameses way back in the 50-ties, but didnt used points in active breeding over 60 years now...

Could he go long fur?

I do know from the mother cat's owner that one of the mum's cat partners was a "Siamese" belonging to a neighbour.

I do have a pictures of some of Link's littermates and he was the only Thai looking ...there was also a tabby kitten not present on the pictures.

With that thin tail I dont think he will get longer fur, but I wont swear on it.  I have seen real changelings here...  almost as in the tales of trolls and or gypsies.  :)

On this pic of the littermates, the two grayish are too points - point bi-color - you can perhaps compare the looks with Snowshoe if shorthair, or ragdoll bi-color if they become longair.

A little unusual points get so dark already as kittens.

Otherwise its expected with a point "siamese mix"   x a carrier - several of the kittens will be points.

If one parent is pointed and the other isn't, about 50% of the kittens will be pointed. . .I guess 3 out of 5 should do it! :D

The pointed gene only came from Siamese so it wouldn't be wrong to call him a Siamese mix. But the actual purebred Siamese might have been 100 generations back, who knows? He's a real cutie, that's for sure!
