I feed my cat Tuffy 2 cans of Fancy Feast (3 oz cans) a day. I add about half a can of water to the food. This is the only water he will drink. Is this enough water? He seems to be well hydrated with a healthy coat and plenty of pee in his box. Please comment.

That seems fine! My cat's the same. She refuses to drink any water at all, so I add a splash to her canned food every day and her vet says that's plenty and she's healthy. If you want you can try making water more appealing by getting a pet fountain, putting the water bowl in a separate location from the food, or putting water in a tall glass rather than a bowl, which are all things some cats prefer. But some cats don't care whatever you do. If you're happy and your cat's happy, then you don't need to change anything.

I just discovered that 2 out of 3 tap drinker just don't like their wiskers to touch the side of the bowl and I have switched to larger wider cereal bowls [emoji]128527[/emoji]. Still have a tap cat left but it explains my dad's cat Rufus from my child hood would only drink from an ice cream pale.

If you are feeding an all-wet food diet, he's fine even without the extra water added.  Just make sure that there is water available if he ever wants it.

I'm glad adding extra water works for you.  My cat, Archie, will not touch wet food if I add water - even just a teaspoon.  I'm not sure why, but he turns up his nose and walks away every time.  Fortunately, regularly drinks water from a bowl.
