The Kitty Katty Tent

So my mama girl Duchess likes to get into what I call her tent lol...it's either a jacket or blanket draped over couch and my legs that forms a sort of tent that she can curl up in/under...this is her favorite way to snuggle with me...and if she can she stays like this for hours!

My guy, Artie, has something very similar, which I also call a 'tent'.

It is a quilt that I have folded, and draped one side up over the top of the coach. The rest of the quilt is on the coach. He did not know what it was at first. When I put him in it, he immediately loved it. This is his daily nap area, in addition to one of his "safe" places. 

My mom started doing this to my previous cat. She loved it also. A bit different though. My mom took an extra large litter box, covered it with a towel, placed it on the side of an arm chair. She then took a beach towel and draped it from the arm of the chair, over the side of the box, and tucked in underneath. Instant Tent!!! 

I kind of copied the original plan...

Awww @GrooveRite....my nickname for my Persialayan is Bugs...what a beautiful baby you have!!! His fur is so shiny and sleek looking!!!

Well neither one of my cat's are the mojito cat...Prince is kinda good at welcoming peopke but he also over owns...Duchess when it's just me and my Hubby she's for the most part a happy cat...she's very much my cat...she likes to be by me since we've acquired Prince her behavior has changed quite a bit...they are still learning to get along...but Prince also thinks I'm his...especially at night.. where Duchess used to sleep by me... Prince has pretty much kicked her out and taken over. .. I tried to not allow it at first but Duchess seems to have acquiesced her spot to him...

So my boy decided he wanted to do some tent action in the bed with us this morning

Ok so I always talk about my girl Duchess being in the kitty katty tent and I often post piks of her in the kitty katty tent...well a couple of months ago I noticed when I put my hoodie on the back of our one chair she would try to make her own kitty katty tent...she's quite used to me using my hoodie. ..anyhoo tonight she tried to make one again as nd I decided to help her complete it...anyways she stayed in for awhile but then got out...well all of a sudden my husband says look babe...and this is what he showed me...btw this is our boy Prince
