Hello all:) I am new to the site and found it while searching for vet bill assistance. I have a sick kitty and he will need surgery. He has kidney stones, and has one currently lodged in his ureter. He has been laying down and not moving at all due to the pain. We took him to the vet and they gave us pain meds, but he is still not moving around. The surgery will be several thousand dollars, and we may not be able to go ahead with it. I started to post in the SOS forum to link my Go Fund Me page. However, I didn't feel that joining a site and asking for money right away seemed right. I think I really just need positive vibes right now. I am not a man that cries very often, but this is hurting. Thanks for just listening.

I think you should do that.....and, the sooner, the better.

Sometimes, local cat/animal rescue groups do assist....search for them and approach them......consider if you'd be open to offering some of your time to volunteer with "them" and offer that.....

Some SPCAs have hospital/clinic facilities....find out what may be available nearby.

IF you're in the US, start exploring the potential for an organization that could assist, preferably one in your state: http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/trouble_affording_pet.html?credit=web_id91754962

There's no time to pause here.
